I am currently a Masters candidate at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, specializing in International Economics. Prior to that I interned for a year at a multinational industrial company in Geneva and Brazil.
During my undergraduate studies at the University of Lausanne, I had the opportunity to go abroad for a year in Vancouver, Canada. This international exchange proved very rewarding in terms of academic and life experience. Thanks to the generous support from the Zdenek and Michaela Bakala Foundation, I will soon be back in North America to complete a semester at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. There, I will study international trade and corporate social responsibility with a particular focus on emerging economies. I am confident that living in a city that important for global affairs will bring a lot of added value to my education.
In parallel with my studies, I have been active in different sports associations. I was a volleyball player and regional referee for eight years and volunteered for a large sports student association in Vancouver. I also participated in several running races, the latest being the Geneva Half Marathon.
