I was first drawn to the uniqueness of international law during my studies of law at Comenius University in Bratislava (master’s degree completed in 2011). Consequently, I decided to further expand my knowledge in this area during my studies at the Université Paris Descartes in 2010 (Erasmus Programme).
In addition, due to my particular interest in historical, social and cultural development of Eastern Europe, I pursued the Russian and Eastern European Studies Programme in the Faculty of Philosophy at Comenius University in Bratislava (Bachelor Degree completed in 2009), which complemented my legal training and contributed to my unique specialisation both in law and in regional sciences.
Currently, I am in my first year of study in the Master in International Law Programme at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, which has provided me with an advanced curriculum for my further specialisation in the area of international law.
I believe that for a good internationalist, it is necessary to comprehend and move well within fine shades of pedagogical and philosophical approaches to international law. Therefore, in my second year at the Graduate Institute I will participate in an exchange programme with the Boston University School of Law, which will be an excellent opportunity to attain such a goal.
