Our support is aimed at highly talented and motivated students or research fellows in any field of study who have demonstrated an outstanding academic performance over the course of their studies, and who are pursuing an international education or research study, but who do not have the financial means to finance their studies (tuition fees or living expenses) at a high standard institution.
The scholarship is not aimed at individuals who just want to study abroad to learn a new language and culture; nor is it for students who are just looking for an impressive sounding-resume. This scholarship is for students or research fellows who will, on top of working hard and excelling academically, use the knowledge and skills they acquire to generate change around them.
Each applicant’s personality, interests and extracurricular activities shall be considered during the selection process.
Although university rankings or Ivy League status do not reveal everything about the quality and excellence of a program, they are appropriate and highly regarded indicators of an institution’s recognised standard of education and professionalism. For this reason, these categories are very relevant in the selection of institutions that qualify for the program.
No limitation or restrictions with respect to the field of study are imposed by the foundation. It is up to the student or research fellow to select the most appropriate university.
