One benefit of being a Bakala scholar is becoming part of a welcoming family of many likeminded peers, where everyone can share their experience and ask for advice.

Joint meeting of the Swiss and Czech Bakala scholars in the UK

Besides that, the current scholars of the Fondation Zdenek et Michaela Bakala (FZMB) were for the first time associated to Loxbridge, a series of annual meetings organized by the Prague-based Bakala Foundation. 4 out of the 9 scholars of FZMB who are currently studying in the UK participated in these meetings at the end of October. The exchanges between all the scholars of both foundations were very interesting and beneficial in particular for the younger students who appreciated the advice received from their more senior peers.
